Happy Snowman Tech was in attendance at the Managing Nonprofit Technology Projects event held on May 20-21, 2008 in Oakland and hosted by Aspiration. It was an excellent opportunity for sharing, learning, camaraderie, and commiseration.
The session topics that we found most intriguing were What Should a Web Site Cost?, Advanced Web Projects, and How to Know You’re in a Failing Project (and How to Save It). The notes from these and the rest of the sessions are available on the MNTP wiki. (Notes from the earlier East Coast MNTP event are on the wiki, too.)
As always, the Aspiration staff poured their enthusiasm and trademark un-conference style into the event, making for a fun and educational experience. This was our first time attending MNTP, and we look forward to it next year!
